Hi! I’m Merit, a touring & session musician and photographer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. A born and raised Philadelphian, I relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in music in my early 20’s. While in Nashville, I honed in on my artistic practice— combining visual and aural expression that centers place, community, and human flourishing. In addition to my performing and session experience, I have extensive music industry experience— from physical distribution, to record and merchandise buying, to marketing and social media management. I have a college degree in music therapy from Temple University, and years of both private and group lesson teaching experience. Looking forward to connecting with you beyond the screen!
